Important notice for Sunflower Bank check card users

February 9, 2009

Recently Sunflower Bank was informed by Visa that a retail merchant processor’s information may have been compromised, potentially affecting several Sunflower Bank customers. According to Visa, several other banks are affected throughout the U.S. and this is not isolated to Sunflower Bank customers.

If your card has been compromised, we have contacted you by letter and you will automatically receive a new card within the next week to ten days. We also have heightened security on most check card accounts, and will be contacting card users should any suspicious activity occur. In addition, should you encounter any suspicious activity while using your card or in monitoring your account activity, please contact us at 1-888-827-5564.
