New faces in Manhattan and Junction City
Sunflower Bank is pleased to announce several promotions and appointments of officers and managers in its Manhattan and Junction City locations.
In Junction City, Sunflower Bank recently appointed Randall Anderes as President and the hire of Dallas Smith as Customer Service Manager.
Anderes currently serves as president of Sunflower Bank’s Manhattan offices, and will continue in that capacity, while adding business development and community involvement efforts in Junction City. Anderes also will oversee strategic planning and leadership of both Manhattan and Junction City locations.
In Manhattan, Kristy Ward was promoted to Customer Service Manager, working out of the 2710 Anderson Ave. location. Ward has worked at Sunflower Bank for 10 years, managing Sunflower Bank Manhattan’s Dillons branch since 2004. She will be in charge of daily operations, personnel, and customer service at Sunflower Bank’s 2710 Anderson location.
Amanda Koerner was named branch manager of Sunflower Bank Manhattan’s Dillons branch. Koerner began with Sunflower Bank in Hays in 2004. Laura Wasinger was named assistant branch manager of the 2710 Anderson office. Wasinger joined Sunflower Bank Manhattan in 2003.
Anderes joined Sunflower Bank in October 2000 as president of Sunflower Bank Manhattan. A native of Elmo, Kan., Anderes has been in the banking industry for 29 years, working in Kansas City and Hutchinson as a market manager and commercial loan officer before joining Sunflower Bank Manhattan. Anderes is an alumnus of Kansas State University.
Dallas Smith began as manager of Sunflower Bank’s Junction City office in May. Smith began her career in banking in 1999, most recently serving as a financial specialist for Wachovia Bank in Columbus, Ga. She will oversee daily operations of Sunflower Bank’s Junction City office, including personnel management, community involvement, and customer service.

Sunflower Bank is located at 510 North Jefferson in downtown Junction City and in Manhattan at 2710 Anderson Ave. and inside Dillons on Sarber Lane.
