Engstrom named Teacher of the Month
Lawrence High School teacher Deb Engstrom received Sunflower Bank’s Teacher of the Month award in November of 2006.
Engstrom has helped improve the lives of students with special needs for years. She is known for going “above and beyond” the call of duty when working with students – including helping students find jobs in the Lawrence community.
Engstrom is Sunflower Bank’s third Teacher of the Month, and is now nominated for Sunflower Bank’s Teacher of the Year award in May. Engstrom joins September winner Nancy Scott of Sunflower Elementary and October winner Carol Souders of Central Junior High.
