Phillips joins Sunflower Bank Salina team
Sunflower Bank announces the addition of Steve Phillips as Vice President & Commercial Loan Officer based in its Commercial Service Center at 2090 South Ohio.
Phillips joined Sunflower on August 19, and will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining and cultivating relationships with current Sunflower Bank clients. Phillips also will assist in strategic planning and daily operations in Sunflower Bank Salina and will be directly involved in community development efforts.
Phillips has worked in the financial industry for nearly 20 years, beginning his career with UMB Bank in Kansas City, Mo. in credit administration, and serving most recently as a commercial loan officer based in Salina.
A native of Abilene, Phillips is a graduate of Kansas State University, and has worked in Salina for the past 16 years. He is currently on the Board of Directors of OCCK and has served on past United Way committees. Phillips’ wife, Glenna, works at the Central Kansas Mental Health Center. The pair resides in Salina with daughter Morgan, 7.
