Turvey named Lawrence teacher of the month!
Lawrence teacher Ginny Turvey was honored as Sunflower Bank’s Teacher of the Month award for January of 2007.
Turvey teaches at Broken Arrow Elementary and is in her 30th year of teaching, currently teaching math and science in 4th grade. Pictured, Turvey is recognized at Broken Arrow Elementary for her efforts.
Turvey also is nominated for Sunflower Bank’s Teacher of the Year award, given in May. Turvey joins September winner Nancy Scott of Sunflower Elementary, October winner Carol Souders, November winnerDeb Engstrum of Central Junior High, and Eudora’s Courtney Heigele, who won the award in December.
