Hays welcomes new commercial lenders
Hays, Kansas – Sunflower Bank announces the hires of Michael Briney and Jack Dennis as commercial and agricultural lenders in Hays, Kansas.
Briney, vice president – commercial and agricultural loans, previously served as an executive vice president at Bankwest of Kansas in Goodland. He arrives at Sunflower Bank with five years of commercial and agricultural lending experience, as well as a proven track record in business and client development.
Briney also spent 11 years as an accountant for Williams Consulting, specializing in business and tax analysis before he became a banker. He is a lifelong farmer and rancher, and continues today. He is a graduate of Kansas State University.
Dennis served as agricultural loan officer for nearly two years at Peoples State Bank in Goodland. He is a 2005 graduate of the Schools of Banking Agricultural Lending School.
Dennis received his B.S. in Organizational Management from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill. Dennis is a native of Oakley, and attended NIU on a wrestling scholarship, after finishing as an All-American each of his two years at Colby Community College.
