Hammer named Teacher of the Month!

Lawrence physical education instructor Gary Hammer was honored as Sunflower Bank’s Teacher of the Month award for February 2007.
Schwegler Elementary students cheered loudly as Sunflower Bank surprised Hammer with his award – a result of his 29 years of dedication and kindness to the Lawrence school system’s students
Hammer joins Ginny Turvey, January’s winner, Nancy Scott (September), Carol Souders (October), Deb Engstrum (November), and Courtney Heigele as nominees for the Teacher of the Year award, given in May.
