Sunflower Bank – now in Topeka!
TOPEKA, Kansas – Sunflower Bank is proud to announce the opening of its Topeka location at 2641 SW Wanamaker Road.
The location is Sunflower Bank’s 35th location in 21 cities throughout Kansas and Colorado. Sunflower Bank is a family-owned $1.4 billion bank, founded in 1892 in Salina, Kansas.
The Topeka bank will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and features an elegant lobby, convenient drive-through teller access and an onsite drive-through ATM. On Saturday, the lobby and drive-through will be open from 8 a.m. until noon.
“Sunflower Bank has been serving the financial needs of a number of area businesses for the past couple of years. We have had the opportunity to assist these business customers with their lending needs. Now we are set to serve their deposit, trust and insurance needs as well,” said Bob Fletcher, president of Sunflower Bank Topeka.
Fletcher has been with Sunflower Bank since 2003 and is a lifelong Topeka resident. He graduated from Washburn University and is a certified public accountant. Fletcher worked for a local CPA firm before serving as Vice President of Finance at Falley’s/Food-4-Less for 9 years. Kellye Caldwell will be the bank’s Customer Service Manager, in charge of day-to-day operations and front line personnel. The bank will staff 8-10 employees including tellers and customer service representatives, who will be responsible for the bulk of customer service.
Sunflower Bank’s Topeka location will offer all of the traditional banking products, with the addition of some specialty offerings such as Deposit Express, a convenient remote deposit service, and Approved For Life mortgages offering customers in good standing to complete a mortgage application only once in their lifetime.
“Our commitment to service of our corporate clients is unmatched. We’re not a typical bank, in fact, we’re actually a consultant, partner, and adviser to our trusted clients,” Bob shares. “The bank facility will also serve as a local business center where businesses may schedule the use of the bank’s board room for meetings.
“We’re excited to be Sunflower Bank’s newest location – and even more proud to a part of the Topeka community,” said Fletcher.
