Scrawling signatures on Sunflower’s history
Workers are already busy pouring cement and working on the foundation and frame for Sunflower Bank’s new Salina homebase and operations center, scheduled for completion in October 2008.
On November 1, Sunflower hosted a beam signing party for all employees, and Sunflower Bankers gathered at the construction site to autograph I-beams used in the building’s construction. About 100 employees brought families to enjoy refreshments and camaraderie at the new site, and left their John Hancock on a piece of Sunflower Bank history.
Sunflower Bank’s Operations Center at 3025 Cortland Circle will be located just off of Schilling Road in south Salina. It features capacity for more than 200 employees and will serve as a central hub for all Sunflower Bank deposit and loan operations, along with accounting, administration, technology, human resources, marketing, and other departments.
