Sunflower Bank donates to Mac Community Health Care Foundation
Sunflower Bank made their first donation resulting from its Health Care Professional debit card usage to the McPherson Community Health Care Foundation last week
Specifically targeted for all individuals working in the health care field – doctors, nurses, administrators, support staff and more – Sunflower Bank’s Health Care Professional package features a special debit card designed exclusively for health care professionals.
According to Lang, the bank consistently focuses on providing new initiatives for various community endeavors. The Health Care Professional package is provided as a courtesy and a thank-you to anyone working in the health care field – but also serves as a vehicle to give back to health care within the community.
With each customer use of Sunflower Bank’s Health Care Professional card, the bank donates 5 cents per transaction to a local health care organization in each market. Sunflower Bank McPherson donated nearly $100 after the first six months of card use. Pictured, Sunflower Bank President Chet Lang presents the check to Chad Clark, executive director of the McPherson Community Health Care Foundation.
“We recognize the long hours and tremendous amount of passion, effort and hard work that health care workers provide each year to our community,” said Lang. ““We’re pleased to present the first of many donation checks to MCHCF as a result of our health care professional program.”
