We’re proud to unveil our newest, most innovative effort to ensure customer security. Each time you login to Sunflower Bank, remain confident that it is you and only you who are able to access your account, anytime, anywhere.

How it works

Very soon upon your login to SunNet Online Banking, you’ll be prompted to verify an image and key phrase that only you could know. You’ll still use your original password – but before you’re logged all the way into your account activity and balance, SunNet will make certain it is you. Follow these steps:

1. Login

Use your normal username and password to access SunNet.

2. You will be prompted at the next screen to select an image and key phrase to attach to your account – your PassMark. You’ll be asked to choose from a library of several images. Pick one you will remember. You’ll only have to do this once.

3. Next, you will be asked to enter a ‘security phrase.’ This phrase IS NOT the same as your password. It could be a phrase used to describe the picture above, it could be a favorite TV character. it can be your favorite team’s mascot. It could be any phrase, as long as you’ll remember it. The only requirement is that it is between 6 and 30 characters. Enter it in the required field.

4. You’ve now selected your PassMark image and phrase. You’re almost done. We’ll next ask you to choose and answer three different challenge questions.

Select a question from each pull-down menu.
Type in your answer for each question.

5. Confirm your PassMark image, unique phrase, and challenge questions. Once you’ve confirmed, now you’re all set! Each time you return to SunNet Online Banking, login as usual with your password first. Then, we’ll ask you to:

  1. Verify your image
  2. Key in your phrase
  3. And, if you’re at a foreign computer – away from your usual home or office desktop – we’ll ask you to respond to one of your challenge questions. Once you answer, then you may continue into your accounts – safe, sound, and secure.
