Community Ambassadors
Spots are now available for high school juniors interested in becoming a Community Ambassador in 2010.
Community Ambassadors is a local high school program in each Sunflower Bank community, open to select seniors graduating in 2010. The program encourages student leaders to consider their hometown community as a viable place to live and work after completing higher education. Community Ambassadors also gain a background in community leadership, local government, entrepreneurship, and financial responsibility.
Program membership is limited to a small group with a minimum of 9 per class. Applicants will be evaluated on current class work, community activities, and a series of short essay questions. Participants may be eligible for scholarships given by Sunflower Bank locally after exhibiting exemplary work and participation in Community Ambassadors.
