What to Know — Getting Ready for the Transition

  • For now, and until May 9, 2022, please continue to bank as you normally do, using the Pioneer Bank website to access online banking. At this time, there is no change to the way you use your accounts — this includes your checks and debit cards.
  • Your account number(s) will remain the same unless you were notified otherwise. 
  • The transition to Sunflower Bank is scheduled to occur on the weekend of May 6. On Friday, May 6, all Pioneer Bank branches will close after normal business hours, and re-open on Monday, May 9. Pioneer Bank branches will not be open on Saturday, May 7 due to our internal system conversion.
  • Prior to May 6, please contact Pioneer Bank to confirm that your personal information is up to date. This includes your phone number, email address and mailing address.  
  • Pioneer Bank’s online and mobile banking services will remain offline and unavailable throughout conversion weekend — beginning at 4:00 p.m. (CT) May 6-8, 2022.
  • Continue to use your Pioneer Bank debit card(s) throughout conversion weekend. Begin using your new Sunflower Bank Visa® debit card(s) on Monday, May 9.
  • Pioneer Bank accounts and services will be mapped into Sunflower Bank accounts and services over conversion weekend. You should have received a letter and welcome booklet detailing this change. If you have questions after reviewing the information, please contact your local banker.

Online Banking and Mobile Banking Users
If you are an existing online banking and mobile banking user, please continue to access these services in the same manner you do today — using the Pioneer Bank website. Once we bring our systems together on May 9, you will begin accessing online banking via the SunflowerBank.com website.
