Sunflower Bank Announces New Metro Texas Region Led by Seth Allen

Sunflower Bank is pleased to announce that Seth Allen has joined the bank as regional president for the newly created Metro Texas region. In this role, Seth is responsible for the strategy, management and growth of the bank in the DFW, Houston, Austin and San Antonio metropolitan areas. Sunflower Bank is a $4 billion regional community bank committed to delivering local decision making with large bank solutions to locations across Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico and Texas.

Seth has more than 35 years of experience in commercial banking with a focus on developing commercial banking operations and teams. Most recently Seth was managing director of an $8 billion publicly-traded Texas community bank, where he created a new commercial lending division and led the commercial loan integration resulting from the merger of two $4 billion banks. Previous roles include regional leadership positions at national banks with responsibilities for building and growing middle market banking divisions. Seth earned an M.B.A. from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and holds a B.A. from Oral Roberts University.

Sunflower Bank has been part of the DFW Metroplex market through its Guardian Mortgage division since 1977. It opened a commercial loan production office in San Antonio in 2015, followed by locations in Austin and Plano. Full service branch locations have been in El Paso for more than ten years. With the addition of Metro Texas, the bank now has ten regions across six states.
