It’s Time for the Annual Holiday Tree & Train Display in Santa Fe

First National 1870’s annual holiday Tree & Train display will delight children of all ages again this December 9 through December 27 at our historic Main Branch on the Plaza in Santa Fe(Opens in a new window). The trains will be running Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 12 PM and from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. On Tuesday, December 24, the trains will only run in the morning. On Wednesday, December 25, we will be closed in observance of Christmas.
 
Members of the Santa Fe Model Railroad Club (SFMRRC), who have maintained and operated the trains for the Bank since 1991, will be running the familiar 0-scale 3 rail Lionel trains and will be available to answer any questions. The display features a Polar Express model, a Hogwarts Express model based on the Harry Potter books, a special holiday freight train, a Victorian village and a ski village with a skating rink.

This year the tree is decorated in an “enchanted forest” theme with ornaments and paper accents created by Porch & Twig of Albuquerque.
