Kroll Bond Rating Agency Affirms Ratings for FirstSun Capital Bancorp

We're pleased to announce that the Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) has affirmed its investment grade deposit and debt ratings for FirstSun Capital Bancorp and Sunflower Bank, N.A.

A credit rating issued by an independent credit rating agency like KBRA is a measurement used to indicate an institution's financial strength. Investment grade ratings are considered safer and more stable investments. From the KBRA press release:

"KBRA affirms the senior unsecured debt rating of BBB, the subordinated debt rating of BBB-, and the short-term debt rating of K3 for Denver, Colorado-based FirstSun Capital Bancorp (NASDAQ: FSUN) ("the company"). In addition, KBRA affirms the deposit and senior unsecured debt ratings of BBB+, the subordinated debt rating of BBB, and the short-term deposit and debt ratings of K2 for its subsidiary, Sunflower Bank, N.A. The Outlook for all long-term ratings is Stable."
