Sunflower Bank’s Holiday Model Railroad Display presented in partnership with the Railroad Model and Historical Association of El Paso (“EPMR”) returns for its second year on November 21 with an enhanced, larger exhibit and new collaboration with the City of El Paso’s 2022 WinterFest.
Viewing the display is free and open to the public at Sunflower Bank’s branch at 201 E. Main, Suite 200, in downtown El Paso. From November 21 – December 30, 2022, trains will run daily from Monday through Friday between 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. This year in conjunction with Sunflower Bank’s sponsorship of the City’s annual WinterFest, there will also be special times for the public to visit on evenings and weekends.
“We are looking forward to hosting the holiday train display again this year in partnership with the Railroad Model and Historical Association of El Paso,” said Ernesto Avila, Sunflower Bank Regional President for El Paso and Las Cruces. “The display featuring the trains from The Polar ExpressTM is lots of fun for children, families and the young at heart and we’re excited to become part of the downtown WinterFest activities this year.”
EPMR designed the train layout for Sunflower Bank and provides the expertise to manage the exhibit and maintain the running of the trains.
