About This Branch
First National 1870, a division of Sunflower Bank N.A.
El Paso, Texas, is a city of about 685,000. It stands on the Rio Grande river on the US-Mexico border. First National 1870’s downtown branch is on the third floor of the El Paso National Bank tower – the second tallest skyscraper in El Paso. We are within walking distance to many surrounding businesses, shops, restaurants, and hotels. We are also near the convention center, the plaza, and Southwest University Park, home of the El Paso Chihuahuas Minor League baseball team.
Downtown El Paso is a big supporter of our ABC program. We are a proud sponsor of the KCOS-TV PBS KIDS Writers Contest, where area students author and illustrate their own stories. We are also the sponsor of Banzai financial literacy classes at four area schools: El Paso Academy, El Paso Academy West, El Paso High School, and La Fe Preparatory School. We support Creative Kids, Kids Excel, Junior Achievement, the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the El Paso Chamber of Commerce, the El Paso Food Bank, and the YWCA. The next time you’re downtown, please come in and see us!
