Guardian Mortgage is Rebranding Under the Sunflower Bank Name
Website Consolidation Important Information
We’re pleased to share updates of what to expect when the Guardian Mortgage website (GuardianMortgageOnline.com) consolidates into SunflowerBank.com.
- Content from the Guardian Mortgage site has been refreshed and incorporated into relevant sections of the Sunflower Bank and First National 1870 websites.
- Every existing page on GuardianMortgageOnline.com has been mapped to redirect to a new page on SunflowerBank.com.
- There is no expected website “downtime” during the transition.
Updates to Website Navigation and Homepage:
- The “main navigation/flyout navigation” is updated with a new “Mortgage Lending” section including “Apply Now” and “Find A Local Lender” buttons.
- On the Personal Login widget, the mortgage servicing portal name is updated from “Mortgage” to “Mortgage My Account Portal” to reflect the rebranded portal name.
New Mortgage Lending Section:
- The Mortgage Lending Overview page delivers a personalized online experience to both homebuyers and other audiences such as real estate professionals, builders, and appraisers.
- Important features and functionality from the Guardian Mortgage website have been retained.
- A “guided navigation” helps different mortgage audiences (ie. homebuilders, appraisers, job seekers, real estate agents and referral partners) find content relevant to their needs.
- Every existing page on GuardianMortgageOnline.com has been redirected to a new page on SunflowerBank.com. This ensures continuity of service for MLO pages, forms, document downloads, etc.
- A new “Mortgage Education Center” brings together important information about the homebuying process including articles, FAQs, checklists and calculators.
Individual MLO Page Updates:
- Individual Mortgage Loan Originator pages are refreshed to ensure all important details are easily accessible. Each page also now serves as a customized landing page for MLOs with an overview of all mortgage services, in addition to their specific details.
Find A Location/Location Pages Updates:
- The Location page is updated to make it easy to find bank branch locations with MLOs.
- All bank branch and mortgage-only location pages now serve as self-contained landing pages featuring products, services and community content.
New Our History Pages:
- The About Us section of the Sunflower Bank site has new pages with feature articles on the history of Sunflower Bank, First National 1870 and our mortgage services through Guardian Mortgage.
First National 1870 website:
- Mortgage Loan Originators in Albuquerque, Los Alamos and Santa Fe, New Mexico serve customers using the First National 1870 brand. The First National 1870 website includes a new Mortgage Lending section that links to content on that site, as well as on the Sunflower Bank site.

Email Address Changes to Guardian Mortgage Employees
Effective June 7, 2025, Guardian Mortgage employee primary email addresses will change to reflect the Sunflower Bank, N.A. domain.
- Primary email addresses will follow the following format: [email protected]
Example: [email protected] will now be [email protected]
Emails sent to an @gmc-inc.com account will continue to be received indefinitely, however updating your contact records is recommended. Should an email be returned undeliverable, please contact Mortgage Support at [email protected] or 800.331.4799.
Additional Servicing Notification to Borrowers
Beginning on June 6, 2025, all borrowers will receive a second email with instructions on new application links and required customer action steps.

- After June 16, 2025, please visit our new website at mymortgage.sunflowerbank.com to view your statement or make online payments.
- Pay by Check
- Please make your monthly payment payable to Sunflower Bank, N.A. (no change to the mailing address is required).
- Bill Pay
- Please notify your financial institution’s online banking service of the payee change to Sunflower Bank, N.A. (no change to the mailing address is required).
- Hazard Insurance
- Please notify your hazard insurance carrier/agent to change your insurance policy’s mortgagee/loss payee to Sunflower Bank, N.A. ISAOA/ATIMA (no change to the mailing address is required).
