Sunflower Bank Continues to Build its Customer Experience Team
Pueblo, CO, January 5, 2017 – Sunflower Bank has recently hired a number of highly experienced individuals to support their locations in Pueblo. “Bringing together a strong and solid team of bankers is fundamental to our mission to create possibility for our customers,” Jamie Burt, Market President stated. Jamie recently joined the bank, bringing an extensive banking background from Davenport, IA. Since he joined the bank, he has added or promoted well-known and trusted individuals who embrace the Sunflower Bank culture to help clients flourish.
Vice President, Retail Regional Manager
Ms. Vasquez is responsible for coaching and supporting the individuals at Sunflower’s six locations in Pueblo, Canon City, and Monte Vista. She has worked in a variety of roles during her 33 years in banking, including 5 years with Sunflower Bank. She is very involved in the community, including serving as a board member for Health Solutions, an Ambassador for the Latino Chamber of Commerce, and organizing golf tournaments to support the Hispanic Education Foundation and the United Way of Pueblo.
Retail Service Manager III
Ms. Mosier is responsible for coaching and supporting Sunflower’s Pueblo Market locations, including managing the Pueblo Regency office in the Southside. She has been in banking for the last 18 years and has successfully managed people and teams for 16 years. Mosier is a huge asset to Sunflower, utilizing her expertise in real estate, underwriting, private banking, commercial banking, and more. One of her strengths is her ability to get to know customers and offer solutions to meet their unique needs.
Retail Service Manager
Ms. Schmitz manages the Sunflower Bank located on Santa Fe Drive in Pueblo. In addition to her 23 years banking experience she has been in management for 15 years. She has a unique ability to manage a high volume, yet spend the time needed with clients to understand their one-of-a-kind needs and goals and offer solutions to meet their objectives. She is very involved in the community.

Ms. Casados manages Sunflower Bank’s Northside location on West 29th Street. She has been in banking for 11 years. She is very involved in the community and has a unique ability to build relationships with people. She is excited to join a community bank that encourages a focus on individual needs and offers a full suite of products and services.
