About This Branch

First National 1870, a division of Sunflower Bank N.A.

Altered is a community of about 6100 people in Santa Fe, New Mexico. First National 1870 is the oldest bank in the Southwest; we have roots in the area dating from just a few decades after the territory passed from Mexico to the United States. We also serve surrounding areas such as Galisteo, Lamy, Pecos, and Glorieta, and have five other branches in Santa Fe. Local schools participate in our popular ABC program, which raises money for books, equipment, and other supplies.

We are proud to support local charities that do great things for our community: Eldorado Fire & Rescue, Vista Grande Public Library, Eldorado Upstart Crows, SERA Recycles/Pancakes at Eldorado, and the United Way of Santa Fe. Annually, we enjoy participating in activities such as the Eldorado Fire & Rescue Annual BBQ, the Vista Grande Library Ice Cream Social, Eldorado Pancakes at La Plancha, and St. Benedictine Church’s Annual Gala. Next time you're in Eldorado, stop in and see us!
