Steve has spent 20+ years working with high-net worth individuals and families providing financial advice for both personal and business needs. His expertise in lending, financial planning, including trust services and estate planning, along with investment management, allows him to help clients create a truly beneficial plan. Steve takes a holistic approach to understanding where clients are now and where they want to be in the future prior to making any recommendations.

In his role as Private Banker at Sunflower Bank, Steve does all the following tasks and more.

  • Managing a client’s day-to-day needs and overall banking relationship.

  • Partnering with Wealth Advisors and Investment Managers to strategize and manage client portfolios.

  • Collaborating with CPAs and Attorneys to gain further understanding about our client’s financial position.

  • Utilizing Sunflower Bank partners in Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, and Mortgage to provide recommendations for each product and service available within the financial industry.

Outside of work, Steve is passionate about scuba diving and believes the most peaceful place on Earth is floating under water.

Philosophy

My philosophy of making recommendations to clients is based on one question: “What would I do in this situation?” Getting to know clients, hearing their personal stories, how they arrived where they are today, and where they see themselves 10 or 20 years from now, serves as my daily motivation. My goal is always to form a strong personal relationship with my clients. By truly knowing them, I understand to help ensuring the rest of their journey is seamless and comfortable.
