Sunflower Bank Supports Ability360’s Mission of Inclusion Through the 360 Golf Classic

We believe in strengthening the communities we serve by supporting organizations that expand access, remove barriers, and create opportunities for all. Our people are encouraged to be active community participants and take an ownership role in the betterment of their communities.

This is why it was natural for our team to align with Ability360, a leader in empowering people with disabilities and their families, and support the 2026 360 Golf Classic, an event that directly fuels programming for young athletes with disabilities that takes place at the famous TPC Scottsdale PGA Course during Phoenix Open weekend.

The Power of Play: Youth Adaptive Sports & the 360 Golf Classic

Among Ability360’s many programs, their Youth Adaptive Sports Programming stands out as one of their most impactful. Designed to ensure young athletes with disabilities can learn, play, and compete, these programs provide a wide range of activities and experiences, regardless of financial barriers.

Ability360 hosts these programs in their unique Sports & Fitness Center, which is one of only a handful of centers in the U.S. that is open to all individuals, but specifically designed for individuals with disabilities, and the only one of its kind in the Western U.S.

“Without the generous support of like-minded companies like Sunflower Bank, many youth with disabilities would be unable to participate and excel in sports for financial reasons. The lessons learned by being a part of a team carry them far beyond the court into every aspect of their lives. Thank you to our friends at Sunflower Bank for sharing our vision for an inclusive world for all.”

Meghan Fable, Vice President of Community Relations and Development

The annual 360 Golf Classic, held at the iconic TPC Scottsdale PGA Course, helps fund the Youth Adaptive Sports Programming as well as the JAAM Youth Athletic Equipment Grant program, which provides custom adaptive sports equipment to young athletes in the Greater Phoenix area.

Meghan Fable, Vice President of Community Relations and Development reflected with us on the importance of this event to Ability360: "The success of our 360 Golf Classic directly affects our youth adaptive sports programs and youth adaptive equipment grants at Ability360."

For the 2026 event, Sunflower Bank proudly sponsored 4 foursomes and our team members who attended had a wonderful time.

We are proud to support Ability360 as they open doors for the next generation of adaptive athletes and look forward to participating in future Golf Classics and continuing to grow our partnership.

Paula Besa, SVP Senior Private Banker, reflected on our team’s experience supporting and participating in the 360 Golf Classic, “‘It was a privilege for Sunflower Bank to sponsor four teams to participate in the 360 Golf Classic. Our team and guests were excited for the opportunity to play the TPC course right before the Phoenix Waste Management Open and we all had a fantastic time supporting Ability360. Working with Meghan Fable and Patrick Tubaugh was such a pleasure, everything was organized, well ran and for such a great cause. We look forward to a continued partnership with Ability360.”
