Investment Research and Portfolio Strategy Manager
Mary Ahn serves as Investment Research and Portfolio Strategy Manager for FirstSun Advisors, where she oversees portfolio implementation, investment research, and strategic initiatives which support the firm's investment management process. She works closely with the investment management team to evaluate market opportunities, conduct portfolio analysis, and implement investment strategies designed to help clients achieve their long-term financial objectives.
Mary brings more than 20 years of experience in trading, investment operations, portfolio strategy, and financial analysis. Prior to joining FirstSun Advisors (formerly First Foundation Advisors) in 2015, she held senior trading and operational leadership roles with Bank of America. She also held positions with Deutsche Bank and PMC BanCorp, building extensive expertise across portfolio management, trading, financial analysis, and investment operations. Her diverse background and analytical approach contribute to the firm's disciplined investment process and ongoing portfolio management efforts.
Mary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego.
