Known for his strategic insight and client focused approach, Ryan has built a distinguished career guiding commercial, private, and corporate banking teams while delivering sophisticated financial solutions to businesses and high net worth clients.

Ryan’s career includes a progression of senior leadership roles that showcase his depth and versatility within financial services. Prior to joining Sunflower Bank, he served as South Texas Regional President and Market CEO, where he oversaw regional strategy, revenue growth, and team development. He has also held multiple Executive Vice President positions in Commercial & Private Banking, demonstrating his ability to drive organizational performance across diverse markets.

Earlier in his career, Ryan served as Corporate Banking Manager, Senior Vice President of Corporate Banking, Vice President of Commercial Lending, and Assistant Vice President. Across these roles, he developed core expertise in portfolio management, risk management, commercial lending, banking operations, and credit analysis—skills that continue to define his leadership today.

A strong business development professional, Ryan earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
