Sunflower Bank’s Public Finance & Tax Exempt Lending Group provides credit solutions for public sector institutions. The team is responsible for building and growing relationships in all our markets, working closely with our local commercial banking teams to identify opportunities that can contribute to the growth of the communities we serve.
The Public Finance & Tax Exempt Group’s primary focus is to provide debt financing and banking solutions to:
- General municipal organizations
- Public education including charter schools
- Property tax and property value assessment development (land secured)
- Redevelopment entities
- Low Income multi-family housing (Low Income Housing Tax Credit “LIHTC” and Housing Private Activity Bonds “PABs”)
Our Community Affairs Office also leads community development lending and community development investments that strengthen the communities in which we live and work.
