Branch Hours During System Conversion
To prepare for the transition to Sunflower Bank systems, First Foundation Bank branch locations and offices will operate on modified schedules.
Friday, September 18
- Most First Foundation Bank branches and offices will close at 12:00 PM local time.
- The Honolulu branch will be closed all day.
Saturday, September 19
- All First Foundation Bank and Sunflower Bank branches will be closed.

In preparation for September 21 and the migration of First Foundation Bank’s personal and business accounts to the Sunflower Bank platform, please review these key items.
Personal customers:
- On August 21, information regarding the personal account conversion was mailed to First Foundation Bank personal accountholders, please contact your local branch or call 888.405.4332 with any questions.
- Instructions for activating new debit cards have been provided directly to current active First Foundation Bank debit card holders.
- Alerts for customers are being posted within Personal Online Banking with instruction to ensure continued online access. These will be updated weekly.
- A complete Conversion Action Steps and Information Guide will be posted on this page the week of September 7.
Business customers:
- On September 1, information regarding the business account conversion was mailed to First Foundation Bank business accountholders providing information about their account transition.
- On September 2, customers with commercial loans were mailed instructions on the account transition.
- Alerts and instructions for online banking conversion are being sent to First Foundation Bank business and commercial customers as outline in the printed mailing as well as through alerts in their online banking portals.
- Instructions for activating new debit cards have been provided directly to current active First Foundation Bank debit card holders.

When is my account transitioning to Sunflower Bank?
All First Foundation Bank personal and business accounts will transition to Sunflower Bank over the weekend of September 18-20, 2026. Beginning September 21, 2026 at approximately 9 a.m. ET / 8 a.m. CT / 6 a.m. PT, you can access your accounts and services through Sunflower Bank.
Will my account number change?
Your account number will automatically transition to Sunflower Bank. Please refer to your account transition materials for specific information about your new accounts and services.
Will my direct deposits and automatic payments continue?
Yes. Existing direct deposits and ACH transactions are expected to continue without interruption. We recommend updating your information with any companies or organizations that maintain your banking details.
How do I access Online Banking after September 21?
Personal: Log in to Sunflower Bank Personal Online Banking using your current First Foundation Bank username and password. You will then be guided through a one-time setup process.
Business: Refer to the instructions you received in the new accounts packet that was sent to you by mail.
Do I need a new mobile banking app?
Personal: Yes. Beginning September 21, download the Sunflower Bank Personal Mobile App from your preferred app store and sign in with your existing Personal Mobile Banking credentials.
Business: Yes. Beginning September 21, download the Sunflower Bank Direct Mobile App from your preferred app store:

What happens to my debit card?
First Foundation Bank customers with active debit cards were mailed new cards between August 26 and September 8. Continue using your current First Foundation Bank debit card until September 21. On September 21 or after, activate your new Sunflower Bank Visa® Debit Card, destroy your old card, and update any recurring payments tied to it.
Will Online Banking be unavailable during the transition?
Online and Mobile Banking services will be unavailable during the conversion weekend as systems transition to Sunflower Bank. We anticipate all online services to be accessible on Monday, September 21, at approximately at approximately 9 a.m. ET / 8 a.m. CT / 6 a.m. PT.
