Sunflower Bank Hires Experienced Loan Syndications and Capital Markets Team

Dallas, TX (October 27, 2020) - Sunflower Bank announces a further investment in our commercial capabilities with the addition of a new Loan Syndications & Capital Markets Group.
Duff Mahan joined Sunflower Bank in July 2020, as executive vice president and managing director, along with Shaun Seyedi, as director. The new group has a national scope, and the team will build upon our strategic relationships to support Sunflower Bank’s commercial and specialized lending bankers.
The loan syndications and capital markets capabilities further enhance Sunflower Bank’s diverse financing offerings for current and prospective clients, expanding Sunflower Bank’s scope and reach.

Duff Mahan is an experienced capital markets professional, having facilitated raising more than $15.0 billion of senior debt facilities across a broad spectrum of industries for middle market and large corporate clients. In his role as managing director, Duff is responsible for building and leading a team that originates, underwrites, executes, and provides ongoing administration of syndicated transactions. Prior to joining Sunflower Bank, Duff co-managed the Loan Syndications & Capital Markets Department of a large publicly traded Texas-based commercial bank. Duff earned a B.B.A. in finance and an M.B.A., with a focus in accounting, from Wayne State University.

Shaun Seyedi brings more than six years of experience as a leader in Loan Syndications & Capital Markets, most recently at a large publicly traded Texas-based commercial bank. Shaun has raised over $5.0 billion of senior debt primarily in the C&I, energy, and CRE sectors. Shaun earned a B.B.A. in finance from the University of North Texas and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
